COMPOSITION:
Each ml contains:
Diminazene Aceturate ..................70 mg
Phenazone .......................................375 mg
Water for Injection ................................q.s.
INDICATIONS:
Target Species: Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Horses and Dogs.
DIMINASHISH RTU is indicated for the treatment of following
• Trypansomiasis caused by Trypanosoma congolense, T.vivax, T.brucei. and T.evansi
• Babesiosis caused by Babesia bovis, B.bigemina, B.ovis, B.motasi, B.canis and B.equi
• Theileriosis caused by Theileria annulata DIMINASHISH RTU can be used for prophylaxis against
trypanosomiasis and babesiosis for 2-3 weeks.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
DIMINASHISH RTU injectable solution should be administered preferably by deep intramuscular (IM) injection at the site of the neck muscle.
Cattle, Horse, Sheep 7 Goats:
The recommended dose is 3.5-5 mg of Diminazene aceturate per Kg body weight which is equivalent to 1-2 ml of DIMINASHISH RTU per 20 kg body weight.
Do not exceed a total dose of 4 g of active ingredient (OR 56 ml of DIMINASHISH RTU) in any animal.
For infection with T. brucei or other trypanosomes of tenacious nature use higher dose i.e. 8 mg per kg body weight but total dose should not exceed 4 g of active ingredient per animal (OR 56 ml of DIMINASHISH RTU).
Dog:
3.5 mg per kg body weight OR 1 ml of DIMINASHISH RTU per 20 kg
body weight.
